What drives you to be better and stay committed to a healthy lifestyle?
My kids. I want my kids to know that I care about my body and my health. I want them to know that mom loves them so much that I sacrificed other things in my life in order to live a healthy and long life for them.
Favorite cheat meal?
Pizza and chocolate forever!
What do you tell yourself on days you just don’t feel like working out?
My husband taught me that those are the days you have to train. Those are the days that make you mentally stronger, to do something you don’t want to do. I always know that when I’m finished I will feel accomplished.
Words of advice for new members at Peak?
Don’t be scared, it’s going to be hard, don’t compare yourself to people around you, you will get there. Have fun and remember your health is the best gift you could give yourself.
